Inorganic Components in Atmospheric Dust

Atmospheric samples are normally collected in an air sampler and then filtered through a quartz filter or membrane filter. The captured atmospheric dust, typically captured at trace levels, is separated with the filter and the harmful elements analyzed using a highly sensitive Inductively Coupled Plasma - Atomic Emission Spectrometer (ICP-AES).

Gas Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer

Offers the highly sensitive simultaneous analysis of metals and inorganic components, without pretreatment. This instrument supports an extensive range of analysis from trace levels to high concentrations, including analysis for research and development, automated analysis for production control, and water-quality monitoring analysis for environmental management.
